Prediction of mechanical behaviour of inhomogeneous and anisotropic materials using an incremental scheme (English)
0 references
Effective properties of elastic composite materials are determined by assuming that the local fields in inclusions can be described by undetermined constants. Substituting these constants into an integral equation for actual local fields, the authors derive a linear algebraic system of equations for the constants. The calculated constants allow to determine the effective moduli. A differential scheme is applied to improve the obtained effective moduli.
