Applications of a higher-order bounded numerical scheme to turbulent flows (English)

The authors present an extension of higher-order bounded numerical scheme WACEB (Weighted Average Coefficients Ensuring Boundedness) in order to simulate two-dimensional and three-dimensional turbulent flows. Different test problems, including the flow around a blunt plate as well as turbulent flow inside a moderately curved U-bend, are presented to emphasize the applicability and reliability of the method.
