The author shows that the class of real sequences defined recently by \textit{Z. Tomovski} [Math. Inequal. Appl. 1, No. 4, 527-532 (1998; Zbl 0922.42001)] is identical with that of \textit{G. A. Fomin} [Mat. Zam. 23, 213-222 (1978; Zbl 0379.42004)]. He defines also a new class of real sequences and examines its relation with some known classes of sequences.
