Unlimited nutrients transport to the root community (Q2711667)

An effective analytical solution to the unsteady nutrient transport problem is obtained taking into account soil buffer power, interroot competition, dispersion of water velocity, molecular diffusion, mass flow toward a root. The phenomenon under consideration is governed by a boundary value problem for parabolic equation. The transfer from the structural model, describing dynamics of the ion concentration in a soil solution on microlevel, to the model of biological continuous medium is discussed.
