Within the framework of generalized nonlinear Hodge theory the author provides, considering a variety of technical points, revised proofs of results given in [\textit{T. H. Otway}, J. Geom. Phys. 19, No. 4, 379-398 (1996; Zbl 0879.58013) and ibid. 27, No. 1-2, 65-78 (1998; Zbl 0967.58010)].
