Variational \(S^1\)-symmetric problems with resonance at infinity (English)

By using the degree theory introduced for \(S^1\)-equivariant gradient maps by the second author in [Nonl. Anal., Theory Methods Appl. 23, No. 1, 83-102, (1994; Zbl 0815.58027)], the authors formulate and prove sufficient conditions for the existence of critical points of \(S^1\)-equivariant asymptotically quadratic functions. The existence of nontrivial zeros of asymptotically linear \(S^1\)-equivariant gradient maps is also studied.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0959.00021].
