A practical estimation technique for spatial distribution of groundwater contaminant (English)
0 references
The authors study groundwater contamination. Because most field sampling of groundwater contaminants are not conducted spatially in a continuous manner, a special estimation technique is required to interpolate/extrapolate contaminant concentration distributions at unmeasured locations. Kriging methods are used to estimate variables at unmeasured locations. The paper develops the ponctual Kriging, easy to implement with a robust estimator defined by the authors.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0958.00050].
