Suppose that \(f\) is a non-constant entire function and \(L=a_1f' + a_2f''+ \cdots+ a_nf^{(n)}\). (i) If \(f\) and \(f'\) share a finite non-zero value \(a\) IM, and if \(L(z)=L'(z)=a\) when \(f(z)=a\), then \(f=f'=L\). (ii) If \(f\) and \(L\) share a finite non-zero value \(a\) IM, and if \(f'(z)=L'(z)=a\) when \(f(z)=a\), then \(f=f'=L\).
