Volume dispersion of point sets and quasi-Monte Carlo methods (English)
0 references
The volume dispersion of a point set is defined by the largest ball not joint with this set, and then an extension is also given. It is the measure of irregularity of this set deviating from uniformity or from a given distributions respectively. The relation of these newly defined things with the usual dispersion and discrepancy are observed.
