G. E. Shilov and the teaching of mathematics (Q2713178)

The paper shows the pedagogical activity of G. E. Shilov. Three papers from his Nachlass are given (in full) or described. The first is ''Mathematical analysis in the university: current and future'' (submitted in 1965). The second is connected with the teaching of the common algebraic and geometrical courses in a mathematics department. The third concerns the problem of mathematical education in philosophical and other humanities departments of universities.
