Some boundary element methods for heat conduction problems (English)
0 references
The author deals with the application of the boundary element method (Green's formula in fact) for the solution of the heat equation in two-dimensions under the assumptions that the heat conductor has constant properties and the initial temperature is uniform. Various boundary conditions can be imposed for which several results concerning convergence and stability are proved. However, no numerical implementation is performed.
