Metric-fine uniform frames (English)

The categories \(M\) of all metric frames and \(CM\) of all complete metric frames are investigated. A localic version of Hager's metric-fine spaces is presented. A general definition of \(A\)-fineness is given for any class \(A\) of uniform frames. Main results: The \(CM\)-fine reflection commutes with completion. \(CM\)-fine frames are precisely the quotients of \(M\)-fine frames. Interactions with topological properties are also studied.
