Deleting lines in projective planes (English)

The paper deals with pairwise balanced designs that can be obtained from finite projective planes by deletion of lines induced by certain configurations (Mia configuration, dual arcs, anti-Fano configuration). In this way one can get pairwise balanced designs with sizes of blocks being three consecutive numbers, and some cases are obtained that have not been reported before.
