Experimental study of the efficiency of generators of pseudo-random numbers based on the RC5 and RC6 cryptographic algorithms (English)
0 references
The authors consider generators of pseudo-random numbers based on the RC5 and RC6 cryptographic algorithms. The RC5 and RC6 algorithms are briefly described. The empiric efficiency of generators is evaluated by means of the \(\chi^2\) test. Some tables illustrate the results of experiments. Practical recommendations for the application of these generators are presented.
