The author considers the problem of constructing a feedback law which steers the initial state to the origin in uniform finite time. The paper is a generalization of the work of \textit{E. Y. Ibrahim} [Int. J. Control. 50, No. 1, 75-79 (1989; Zbl 0683.93037)] to the infinite dimensional case.
