The logic of knights, knaves, normals and mutes (English)

As an aid to analyse some Smullyan's puzzles, the author considers an extension of classical propositional logic by three operators \(\text{T}_{x}, \text{F}_{x}, \text{S}_{x}A\) for \(x\) can say (only) true statements, (only) false statements, or the statement \(A\), respectively. He gives a suitable semantics, and an adequate axiomatization for the logically valid formulas via some sequent calculus. Some applications to suitable logic puzzles are sketched.
