The \(R\)-function method in boundary value problems with geometric and physical symmetry (English)

In terms of the theory of \(R\)-functions the authors propose some development of the methods of constructing the draft equations with symmetry of translation type for the duplicated domains nonseparable by straight lines and point symmetry of cyclic type for the domains both possessing and nonpossessing axial symmetry. Possible applications are illustrated by numerous examples calculated by means of the system ``POLE''. The examples include the solutions of boundary value problems on the effect of round- and star-form insulators located cyclicly on the distribution of electrostatic field.
