Axisymmetric mixed problem of the stationary dynamic theory of elasticity for a layer with a cylindric hole (English)

The authors investigate the forced harmonic oscillations of semi-infinite elastic layer with a cylindric hole. It is assumed that the lower bound of the layer is rigidly fixed while the upper bound is free of stress. The harmonic oscillations of the layer are excitated by the force load applied to the lateral surface. The obtained boundary value problem for the displacement vector under mixed boundary conditions is reduced to the infinite linear system of algebraic equations which is solved numerically. Discussed are the results obtained for a set of the layer parameters and the prescribed range of excitation frequencies.
