Action of smooth stamps on an elastic halfspace. (Q2714549)

The paper deals with the problem on pressing in of two smooth round stamps in the elastic half-space. The authors propose a method of satisfying the conditions on the half-space boundary for which the problem is reduced to the infinite system of linear algebraic equations with Fredholm operator. The numerical analysis is presented for the stresses under the stamp depending on their dimensions and location.
