Surface waves in bodies with initial stresses and an ultrasonic nondestructive method for determining stresses in near-the-surface layers of solids (English)
0 references
The author dwells on the main regularities of the surface wave propagation in compressible (relatively rigid) bodies with the initial stresses along plane and curvilinear (cylindric and spherical) surfaces. In view of the above mentioned regularities formulated are basic correlations of the ultrasonic nondestructive method of stress determination in the near-the-surface layers of solid.
