Dynamics of a ribbed plate on an elastic layer under a moving load (Q2714593)

Considered is an unbounded plate located on an elastic layer of finite thickness which is reinforced in one direction by an arbitral number of elastic ribs. The authors study the reaction of such plate to the action of normal loads moving along the ribs with arbitral constant velocity. Discussed is the effect of the elastic layer thickness and location of ribs relatively each other on the stress-strained state of the construction.
