Solution of one class of problems encountered during investigation of the stability of laminar composites. (English)

The author discusses the approximate solution by the method of finite differences of one-dimensional spectral problems occurring in solution of plane problems of three-dimensional stability of laminated composites. Basic schemes are constructed that enable one to formulate every discrete (difference or algebraic) problem of the class of problems under consideration. The properties of the discrete problems are studied and the iterative method is proposed for their solution.
