Degenerate bifurcation giving rise to a cycle in multiparameter problems in hydrodynamics (English)

The authors study multiparameter problems of hydrodynamics for Kolmogorov and Couette-Poiseuille flows in a plane channel. For the investigation of degenerate bifurcations of the cycle generation, the authors propose an algorithm for construction of Lyapunov-Schmidt series for problems with quadratic nonlinearity. Numerical results are discussed for the Couette-Poiseuille problem.
