The \textit{Lettres de A. Dettonville}, written in 1658-1659 by Blaise Pascal, treated in part problems involving the cycloid. The corollaries of the title appeared in a version apparently dating from December, 1658. The first, giving an application of a triangle-summing method to determine the centre of gravity of a cycloid presents some anomalies, including an odd placement of figures on a plate. The author speculates that an original version, now lost, dealt with a circle and was superseded because of some intervening research of Christopher Wren.
