Malécot's mathematical and statistical work is mainly devoted to theoretical population genetics: a description of this work and a list of 46 scientific papers finish the present collection.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEThis, however, is only an addition to this collection which aims to present the author's publications to general topics of e.g. philosophical nature, as well as his papers which popularize actual biological developments. Unfortunately, this collection is nothing but a gathering of pure reprintings of (e.g. newspaper) pages which contain text written by Malécot. Besides a table of content, there is no other apparatus, no comments, no structuring of the material.
