The authors continue the program initiated by the first named autor [\textit{B.-W. Schulze}, Pseudo-differential operators on manifolds with singularities, Studies in Mathematics and Its Applications, 24, North Holland, Amsterdam (1991; Zbl 0747.58003); Pseudo-differential boundary value problems, conical singularities and asymptotics, Mathematical Topics, 4, Academie Verlag, Berlin (1994; Zbl 0810.35175)] on analysis on manifolds with edges. They address the important issue of coordinate invariance in a class of functional spaces, namely the wedge Sobolev spaces. These are weighted spaces of vector-valued distributions.
