Here the author pointed out that the polynomials \(q_n(x)\) studied by \textit{C. L. Parihar} and \textit{S. K. Harne} [J. Indian Acad. Math. 19, No. 1, 31-35 (1997; Zbl 0901.30001) are a special case of the Horadam-Peth polynomials \(p_n^\lambda(x)\) [\textit{A. F. Horadam} and \textit{S. Pethe}, Fibonacci Q. 19, 393-398 (1981; Zbl 0477.10013)] or more general polynomials \(p^\lambda_{n,m}(x)\) (Fibonacci Q. 25, 356-360 (1987; Zbl 0635.33006)].
