The author studies semigroups of rational functions of one complex variable with semigroup operation being of composition of maps. He gives the sufficient conditions that the area of Julia set of semigroup is equal to zero, finds an upper estimate of the Hausdorff dimension of the set. There are many other results in the work. Some of them are close to previous investigations of A. Hikkanen and G. I. Martin, O. Sester, M. Jonsson, Y. Yin, the author. One needs many notations to give precise formulation of these results.
