The author considers the Otsuki connection, which is a generalization of an affine connection (``perturbed'' by a tensor field of type (1,1)). Some new relativistic models are derived, by using a so called essential metric associated to the Otsuki connection. NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEThis interesting paper illustrates how different kinds of exotic parallel transports may give new insights in General Relativity. NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEThe reviewer believes that there are strong links between the Otsuki connection and the pseudo-connections, studied extensively by C. di Comite, L. Nicolescu, E. Vamanu, etc.
