A survey of recent developments in approximation theory on non-abelian totally disconnected groups is given in this paper. There are some important results in the note: study of the convergence in the \(L^p\)-norm of the partial sums and the Fejér means of Fourier series; estimation of the Fourier coefficients of integrable functions; moreover, the concept of modulus of continuity is introduced.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0944.00034].
