Lectures on geometry and classical kinematics (English)

The paper is a manuscript for a kinematics lecture: An introduction into Euclidean geometry and the analytic description of displacements of the 3-space (including a short introduction into Lie-group theory) build up the basis for kinematic considerations. Later on linkages and kinematic chains are investigated. A chapter devoted to the adjoint representation of the group of Euclidean displacements and the connections with the concept of dual vectors finish the paper.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0944.00034].
