Boundary stabilizability of a nonlinear structural acoustic model including thermoelastic effects (English)

This paper studies the boundary stabilizability of a coupled system of partial differential equations. The model consists of the (linear) wave equation which is coupled to a nonlinear thermoelastic plate equation on a portion of the boundary. The main result of the paper states that the system can be stabilized by a nonlinear dissipative boundary condition on a part of the remaining portion of the boundary.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0959.00047].
