FC-groups and projectivities (Q2717345)

This is a survey article in which the author gives a detailed account of recent research of herself and the reviewer concerning properties of the lattice of all subgroups of an FC-group (i.e. a group in which each element has only finitely many conjugates). Clearly, the class of all FC-groups is not closed under lattice isomorphisms, but it is proved that certain generalizations of FC-groups, like for instance FC-soluble and FC-hypercentral groups, form lattice-invariant group classes.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0953.00026].
