\(\omega\)-Limit sets for triangular mappings (English)

The authors consider triangular maps on the unit square, i.e. maps of the form: \((x,y) \rightarrow (f(x),g(x,y))\). They establish natural conditions for a non-trivial Peano continuum (or a finite union of Peano continua) to be a limit set of some triangular map. They also note that such characterization for non-Peano continuum might be difficult.
