Uniform groups are extensions of rigid completely decomposable torsion-free Abelian groups by finite homocyclic Abelian \(p\)-groups. The authors analyse the indecomposable decompositions of rigid \(p\)-local almost completely decomposable groups and in the uniform case exhibit an algorithm for finding the indecomposable factors from a standard presentation. They even include a short MAPLE procedure that implements the algorithm.
