Correction of solutions for linear and nonlinear boundary value problems (English)

Two point boundary value problems for ordinary differential equations and their numerical solution by a shooting method are discussed. The proposed procedure is extended to classical Sturm-Liouville problems for correction of eigenvalues and eigenfunctions.
