Efficient methods for special second-order ODEs (English)

The paper is concerned with numerical solves for systems of second-order ordinary differential equations (ODEs), in particular for problems with additional a priori information on the solution, like periodicity or oscillation with a dominant frequency within a known range. Methods for stiff and non-stiff problems of this kind are proposed and compared with existing approaches.
