On infinite products of fuzzy matrices (English)

The convergence of infinite products of a finite number of fuzzy matrices is studied. Three main directions are presented. First, similar to \textit{Z. T. Fan} and \textit{D. Liu}'s decomposition [Fuzzy Sets Syst. 88, No. 3, 363-372 (1997; Zbl 0915.15016)] the weak convergence of infinite products of a finite number of fuzzy matrices in terms of certain Boolean matrices is established. Second, monotone properties such as compactness and transitivity are useful to establish the convergence of powers of a fuzzy matrix. Third, a sufficient condition based on the concept of row domination is proposed. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the weak convergence are discussed.
