Plane asymmetric problem of a solid blunt wedge impact on compressible liquid surface (English)
0 references
The author investigates a plane problem on a vertical impact of a solid blunt wedge on compressible liquid surface. The wedge faces are located at different angles to the undisturbed liquid surface. The solution of the mixed boundary value problem in terms of the Laplace integral transform with respect to time, separation of variables and decomposition into the cosine and sine Fourier series is reduced to the solution of the infinite system of linear Volterra integral equations of second kind with respect to the coefficient of the hydrodynamic pressure decomposition into the Fourier series. In the numerical example for the wedges of different masses immersing at different deadrise angles presented are the time dependences of the hydrodynamic force, reaction momentum, angle of asymmetry and the Mach numbers for the wedge sides.
