The paper focuses on a description of extremal projectors over the Drinfeld-Jimbo algebras \(U_q(g)\), where \(\dim g<\infty\), by their factorization with respect to normal orders in the corresponding root systems. Also some cohomological properties of \(g\)-modules are discussed.
