The author applies the adopted definition of the primitive left loop [see \textit{V. D. Belousov}, ``Foundations of Quasigroups and Loops Theory'', Nauka, Moscow (1967; Zbl 0163.01801) and \textit{A. I. Mal'tsev}, ``Algebraic Systems'', Moscow (1970; Zbl 0223.08001)] and the topological left loop and studies their general properties. Necessary and sufficient conditions of multiplicative and strong multiplicative total regularity of the topological left loops are established. It is proved that for the normed topological left loop there exists an embedding into the left associative group.
