Mathematical modelling of three-dimensional flows in screw feeding system of microwave unit (English)

This paper deals with the mathematical model and some numerical calculations of velocity, temperature and components concentration of the flow of high-viscous food masses in the operating zone of microwave unit. It is assumed that the food mass is supplied along the heating zone of the unit and intermixed by screw conveyor. The author determines the processing parameters (dimensionless heating intensity and dimensionless heating time) which satisfy the technological norms.
