In [\textit{B. Fisher}, Math. Semin. Notes, Kobe Univ. 10, 17-26 (1982; Zbl 0501.54032)] some fixed-point theorems on two complete and compact metric spaces are proved. These results are generalized in [\textit{B. Fisher} and \textit{D. Türkoğlu}, Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 23, No. 3, 205-210 (2000; Zbl 0956.54022)] for set-valued mappings.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEIn this paper, the authors independently generalize the results of Fisher for set-valued mappings. The proofs of existence of fixed points from Theorem 2.1 (resp. Theorem 2.3) coincide with the proofs of Theorem 1 (resp. Theorem 2) from Fisher and Türkoğlu. In addition, in Theorem 2.2 sufficient conditions for the uniqueness of fixed points are established.
