Extensions of an Anderson stability result from polynomials to polynomial families (English)
0 references
The paper describes an extension of earlier results on the equivalence between checking stability of a real polynomial and checking stability of an associated complex polynomial of half degree, as well as results on the stability of even and odd parts of stable polynomials. These results are extended to interval polynomials, i.e. polynomials whose coefficients belong to given independent intervals. Interval polynomials arise in control theory as a convenient tool for checking robust stability of linear systems.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0948.00025].
