Author constructs 4-designs with parameters \(4\)-\((q+1,6,\lambda)\) where \(\lambda\in \{60,70, 90,100, 150,160\}\). He also constructs designs \(4\)-\((q+1, 8,35)\), \(4\)-\((q+1, 9, 63)\), and \(4\)-\((q+1, 9,147)\). Here \(q= 2^f\) where \(f\geq 5\) and \(f\) is not divisible by 2 nor by 3. These designs are simple and are closely related to the Alltop designs.
