The authors develop the inverse of a square matrix of order \(n-1\) \((n\geq 4)\) having each element on the main diagonal 2, each element on the first super-diagonal \(-1\), each element on the \(p\)th \((p\geq 2)\) sub-diagonal \(-1\) and the remaining elements zero.
