Some discussion on the conditions of complete convergence for sums of \(B\)-valued random elements (English)

This paper discusses the conditions of complete convergence for partial sums and randomly indexed partial sums of independent but not necessarily identically distributed random elements in Banach spaces of type \(p\). The main purpose of this note is to extend the results of \textit{Yu} [Chin. J. Appl. Probab. Stat. 5, No. 2, 105-115 (1989)] to the \(B\)-valued case, and to obtain the characterization for Banach spaces of type \(p\) in terms of the complete convergence of zero mean \(B\)-valued independent random elements.
