The author gives sufficient conditions for the existence of polynomial attractors for ODEs. This problem is generally treated by perturbation techniques. Here, the author uses Lyapunov vector functions and introduces the notion of polynomial asymptotic equilibrium. In particular, he applies the above results to get sufficient conditions for the existence of periodic solutions.
