Geometrical probability is a well established branch of probability theory [see \textit{L. A. Santaló}, ``Integral geometry and geometric probability'' (1976; Zbl 0342.53049)]. In this paper the distribution of the random distance between two points, uniformly distributed in a cube of side length \(a,\) is derived. The method is based on the technique developed by \textit{A. P. Houosy, V. A. Vitenberg} and \textit{V. A. Pal'mov} [``Bumpy surfaces: Theoretical and probabilistic approach'' (Moscow, 1975)].
