Systems theory over finitely generated Abelian groups (English)
0 references
In the paper under review the authors announce some results for discrete-time systems over finitely generated Abelian groups which show certain interesting differences between the classical set up of the Laurent sequence spaces for input and output signals of the system and the behavioral approach in the modern systems theory proposed by Willems which tends to privilege the complete sequence spaces (no constraints on the signals neither in the past nor in the future and so no time asymmetry). They introduce some basic definitions but don't prove their statements. They give detailed reference for the results which have appeared in other papers and promise that proofs of their results will appear in a forthcoming paper.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0961.00036].
